Reno, Nev. – Noticiero Móvil announces the launch of “No Me Digas,” an English-dominant, bilingual video podcast that blends discussions of current events and pop culture relevant to the northern Nevada community.

“No Me Digas is a conversation between us and the community we love. We made these episodes for people who wanted to stay up-to-date with what is going on in our community in a fun way,” said co-producer and host Juliet Ojeda, a rising senior at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). “As you’ll hear in our podcast, it is not chisme, it’s fact.” Mayra Gonzalez Hernandez, also a senior at UNR, will co-produce and host during the summer of 2025.

The first episode of “No Me Digas” was published in April and discussed the Latino poetry community in Reno; the second, in May, touched on the local music scene and how Latinos contribute to it. The most recent episode, published Monday, was a conversation about surviving as a first-generation college student at UNR. Episodes range from five to 10 minutes in length.

The title is a play on the Spanish phrase “no me digas,” translating to “you don’t say” and “no kidding.”

“Our community reflects a blend of English and Spanish, immigrants and first generation people. No Me Digas is an ongoing reflection of that community culture.” said Claudia Cruz, the site’s managing editor. “We encourage our community to send topics they want to hear about in the future!”
