The 2016 Presidential Candidates as Cats

September 27, 2015 by Noticiero Movil

By Gabriella De Leon

Do you ever look at your feline friend and wonder what he’d look like as a human? Ever do that with the presidential candidates? Of course you do.

What would the next debate look like if they turned into cats overnight?

Glad you asked.

Jeb Bush – Exotic Shorthair

Jeb Bush

The Exotic Shorthair is a sweet cat. It just wants some attention. It wants you to know it’s nice, and it wants to know you like it, too. Unfortunately, others pick on this poor kitty.

Donald Trump – Arabian Mau

Donald Trump

The Arabian Mau is a special kind of cat. It demands attention and knows how to play its owner. This cat is NOT affectionate. It probably won’t love you, and if it’s having a bad day, you better stay clear of its path. On good days, however, it is fun to watch and always has something new to show.

Carly Fiorina – Siamese

Carly Fiorina

The Siamese cat represents both sides of the coin; you just never know what you’re going to get. One moment, it is nice and likes to curl up by your side and the next moment, well… You better hope you’re not the one who messed with this tough kitty. This cat fiercely wants you to pay attention and know who’s boss.

Rand Paul – Selkirk Rex

Rand Paul

I think we can all agree that the Selkirk Rex is a funny looking feline. Along with the crazy hair, it’s got a laid back and easy going personality. Nothing really gets to this cat’s fur ruffled, unless you show it one of its favorite toys. In that case, you’ve got a whole lot of crazy from the tips of each wiry hair to the soles of its toes. Maybe it got it from its parent breed?

Ben Carson – Birman

Ben Carson

A sweet, delicate, quiet cat, the Birman always knows how to please its humans. It is always trying to do what’s best. It will even go as far as helping you do the dishes or attempting to help make the bed… even when it doesn’t quite know what’s going on.

Marco Rubio – Burmese

Marco Rubio

The Burmese is known for its soft yet fearless temperament. Well into adulthood it keeps its youthful glow as it acts like a kitten. This feline is more soft-spoken than many other breeds and because of this, its needs may not be as apparent.

Chris Christy – Cymric

Chris Christy

Who needs a watch dog when you’ve got a Cymric around? This cat is extremely alert and is ready to growl at and attack anything that it deems a potential threat. This feline won’t let anything get in its way – it’s always trying to be the tough guy on the block.

Hillary Clinton – American Shorthair

Hillary Clinton

An American Shorthair is the most common kind of cat. You know what you’re getting into when you get one as a companion. It’s a cat. It’s the kind you get when you don’t know what you’re looking for and you’re too afraid to try something new.

Bernie Sanders – Turkish Angora

Bernie Sanders

Turkish Angoras are playful, loving cats who can adapt to any environment. They fiercely protect what they love. This cat is not afraid to show what or who it cares about. However, one should watch over them closely to make sure they stay out of trouble and don’t cause a mess.

Which of these presidential catidates would you adopt?
